The Rifle and Pistol Range

Our rifle and pistol range is open Tuesday through Sunday from 8 AM to 5 PM

Shooting starts at 9:30 AM on Sundays.

Inland offers many competitive shoots during the year, Most begin around 8 AM on weekends. Check the Schedule for dates, or call and ask the Range master. The range is closed during some competition shoots on the weekends. Be sure to check the schedule if you plan to come for personal shooting fun and practice. (most shoots can be entered and are fun! try that option!)

Due to ongoing issues regarding our Trap and Skeet areas you need to check with the pro shop or call to ensure any event on those fields will be held as planned. Sorry for the inconvenience. We do have active trap operations however, so come on out .

Ask our Range master's Brian or Jorge for more details.

Range fees are $16 all day for non-members*

$6 all day for members*

Family Memberships are $50 for 12 months

Shotgun use is generally limited to the trap and skeet areas and a pattern board is available.

Sighting in of shotguns with slugs or large shot for hunting season is allowed when range conditions permit. You must clear this use with the Rangemaster prior to bringing a shotgun onto the rifle and pistol range. An additional target board fee applies.

When on our ranges please remember that safety comes first. Listen to all Rangemaster directions.

We don't allow rapid fire. Pick up your own brass if you want it. Please leave the rest for us.

*continuous use, leaving the range property ends your session. No unattended firearms or range gear is allowed on the rifle and pistol range. Please be responsible.

Events at the range include those hosted by the Inland Silhouette club and the Inland Bench rest society along with the Plunge Creek Cowboys and the Buffalo Shooters!

Range Info, We have 200 yards of downrange for targets with a metal gong for experienced shooters. There are pistol and rifle target placements from 15 yards to 200 yards. (15,25,50,100,150,200)

No person (s) are allowed on the range without the designated rangemaster or Executive Board member present.. This rule is absolute. Please wait to enter the line if no Rangemaster is present.

Setting up before he arrives is NOT cool! Don't.

(sit in your car and enjoy your coffee or whatever, The rangemaster will be there)

Shooting

Rifles from bench rest only until skill level is approved by rangemaster for offhand shooting. Target shooting only, no trash, rocks or other potentially dangerous items allowed. Do not shoot at any target but yours! That includes steel targets that may be present. They have owners and uses not for general shooters. We catch you blow a hole through one of them and YOU bought it! They are not cheep. Be a friend. Shoot your own target. Or go out in the boonies somewhere and face the consequences!

We will allow you to shoot the gong. Be sure you know which one it is!

Mind the Rangemaster at all times, he is the Supreme Range Safety Officer. Club members may also be on scene to help as additional RSO's, but work only under the rangemaster's direction and must check in with him when attending for range aid purposes prior to assuming those duties. Safety is everyone's duty however, so listen and be civil when told of possible rule violations. We all make mistakes. We all need to be careful at all times.

If not you will be asked to leave, you may not be welcomed back!....ever!....

Thank you.
