I'm a 3 year member of IFG and am happy to see the cowboys show up! I've always been interested but the whole "dressing up" or "spirit of the game" thing has been unclear. How does one begin? Do I have to invest in period garb to try it? or can I get by for a time with jeans, sneakers and flannel shirt? Heck I don't even own boots or a cowboy hat!! Also, what guns are needed? I have my one revolver and a couple lever guns but no period shotgun. I'll check back here to see if anyone comments or you can contact me via email at: rigmarol at verizon dot net.
